We ask you to share the news about this camp with your students entering grades 8 through 12 who show an interest in meteorology.
Please don’t let a lack of financial resources prevent interested and talented students from applying. A limited number of scholarships are available to financially disadvantaged students, and other scholarships are available to students from underrepresented groups.
How to Apply
- Complete the registration process.
- Secure your spot by making payment in full as the camps fill quickly.* If you are awarded a scholarship, that amount will be refunded to you.
- Submit a 150-word (maximum), handwritten essay on “Why I want to go to Penn State’s Weather Camp.” Essays may be scanned and emailed to dah982@psu.edu.
- All materials must be received by March 22, 2024.
Please be aware that since the camps fill quickly, you are not guaranteed a spot until payment is received. Please contact the program manager to discuss payment issues at kxd20@psu.edu.
You will receive an email notification in early April if you were awarded a scholarship.
